Brooks Bluffton Bobcat Start 2013

Brooks had a great start to the 2013 baseball season.  He gained the starting shortstop job and played there through the preseason where he managed to hit over .600 in the number 2 spot in the line up.  He also only had one error in over 15 tries in the field.  He also had two appearances on the mound.
In the opening game of the season against Battery Creek High School, Brooks had his first regular season base hit and RBI on a bullet to left in the bottom of the first inning.  The Bobcats went on to win the game 2-1 with some awesome defense, great pitching, and clutch at bats.
It should be a very excited season playing in 4A baseball with some of the best baseball teams and talent in the country.  Brooks will really be tested as a high school sophomore and get an opportunity to show his skills at a high level of baseball play.
